Virginia-Liberty Baseball Game Sold Out

The Liberty ticket office has announced that tickets for Tuesday's showdown between Liberty and No. 5 Virginia at the new Liberty Baseball Stadium are sold out.  First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Flames Ticket Office will be available the day of the game for customer service and to operate the will call at the stadium.

Tickets remain available for the all other regular season home games and can be purchased online at LibertyFlames.com or by phone at 434-582-SEAT (7328).

Firework shows have been scheduled to take place at the conclusion of three Big South Conference games, beginning this Friday against Longwood. Fireworks shows are also scheduled for April 19 against Winthrop and May 17 after the Flames game with Radford.

The Flames will host West Virginia for a weekend series, April 12-14. Myron Noodleman, known as "the clown prince of baseball" (www.myronnoodleman.com), will be the in-game entertainment during the series opener on April 12 at 7 p.m.  Liberty football will have its annual Spring Game on April 13, starting at 1 p.m., followed by the second game of the West Virginia series. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.  The series will conclude on April 14 at 2 p.m.

Liberty will host the 2013 Big South Baseball Championship presented by Triangle Rent A Car on May 21-25 at Liberty Baseball Stadium. Ticket information will be available soon.
