Dr. Elmer Towns welcomes Liberty forward JR Coronado back to campus on Wednesday.

The Liberty men's basketball team returned to campus Wednesday afternoon, where they were greeted by fans and students showing support for the Flames' recent run to the NCAA Tournament.

In addition to the gathering, over 2,000 students assembled inside the Vines Center, last night, to watch Liberty's NCAA First Four matchup with North Carolina A&T. With a chance at the game-winning shot, the Flames nearly advanced to the second round, but a defensive stop by the Aggies led to the narrow 73-72 decision.

Liberty concludes its season with a 15-21 overall record after receiving national media attention for its incredible postseason run to secure its third NCAA Tournament appearance.
