The Flames Sports Network released its plan to broadcast 20 Liberty Flames baseball games along with any 2007 Big South Baseball Championships involving the Flames live this season.

Both home and away games will air on WWMC 90.9 FM "The Light" beginning with the home opener on Feb. 23 against Albany. The contests can also be heard online on the World Wide Web at www.LibertyFlames.com or www.thelightonline.com. All broadcasts are slated to begin 10 minutes before game time.

The tentative schedule includes away night games at William and Mary on April 10 and Virginia Tech on May 1. It is also highlighted by non-conference match-ups with 2006 NCAA participant Manhattan on March 2 and March 4 and Colonial Athletic Conference regular season champion James Madison on April 18. In addition, the station will broadcast Big South home clashes with in-state rival Radford on April 20 and 22 and Winthrop on May 13. The network may add more games as the season goes on.

The Flames opened their 2007 season with a three-game series at East Carolina this past weekend and travel to Charleston, S.C. for the Citadel Shootout this weekend, where they will face No. 2 South Carolina on Friday, host Citadel on Saturday and Richmond on Sunday.
