• SERIES WITH William & Mary - William & Mary leads all-time series, 25-20 since 1976.
• The Tribe defeated the Flames, 5-3, this past Tuesday. It was the first loss for the Flames at their new Liberty Baseball Stadium, where Liberty is 7-1.
• SERIES WITH Virginia - Virginia leads the all-time series, 29-20-1.
• Last season, the Flames downed the Cavaliers, 8-0, at Davenport Stadium, 2/28/12.
• Liberty and Virginia will play a home-and-home series this season. The Cavaliers will visit Liberty Baseball Stadium on April 2.
• Liberty  has started the month of March with 5-3 record. The Flames are 372-288-2 (.563) all-time in the month of March. Liberty is  66-37 (.641) under head coach Jim Toman during the month.   
• Liberty snapped a three-game losing skid with an 11-8 win over Georgia, Sunday.
• The Flames had season-high 16 hits in their victory over Georgia.
• With its win on Sunday at Georgia , Liberty is now  3-4 on the road this year.
• Liberty had its nine-game winning streak snapped in a 5-3 loss to William & Mary this past
Tuesday. The streak tied the program record for consecutive wins at the NCAA Division I level. The mark has been reached in seven different seasons.
• Liberty Flames head coach Jim Toman is three wins away from his milestone 200th victory.
Toman will join Al Worthington as the only two coaches to win 200 games in program history.

Tracking Liberty
• Liberty snapped a three-game losing skid with an 11-8 win over Georgia, Sunday.
• The Flames had season-high 16 hits in their victory over Georgia.
• LF Nick Lacik, 2B Bryan Aanderud and 3B Dalton Sype each had three hits for Liberty in their win on Sunday.
• RHP Trey Lambert pitched seven scoreless innings on Sunday, before having his 14-inning scoreless streak halted in the eighth at Georgia.  Lambert is 3-0 on the season.
• RHP Brooks Roy gave the Flames another strong outing Saturday. Despite picking up his first loss of the year, Roy (2-1) retired the Bulldogs in order in five out of the eight innings he worked. He retired seven or more Georgia batters in a row on two different occasions during the game.
• Although OF Ryan Cordell had his consecutive game hit streak stopped at 12 on Friday night, the junior hit his second home run of the season Saturday and has hit in 13 out of
Liberty's 15 games.

• OF Nick Paxton leads the Flames with 16 runs scored.
• C Trey Wimmer has thrown out 65.5% of baserunners trying to steal this season.
• RHP Brooks Roy leads the Flames with 25 1/3 innings pitched.
• Aanderud has hit .412 over his last 10 games.
• OF Nick Lacik had his first three-hit game as a Flame on Sunday.  He also had three RBIs.
It was the first time this season, the OF served, as Liberty's leadoff hitter.

Toman Closes in on 200
• Liberty Flames head coach Jim Toman is three wins away from his milestone 200th victory.
• Toman will become only the second of the six coaches in program history to reach the milestone. Liberty's first head coach Al Worthington is the other, having posted 343 wins during 13 seasons.
• Toman has posted the highest NCAA Division I winning percentage (.633) during his first five years in Lynchburg of any head baseball coach in program history.
• The Flames have posted the top two season win totals in program history during Toman's tenure, posting a school record with 43 victories in 2010 and 41 victories in 2012
