Stan Vaughan

The Liberty men's tennis team enters the 2013 season looking to build upon a very successful 2011-12 season. Last season's total of 15 wins marked the program's second highest single-season win total. The Flames racked up 90 singles victories on the year, as five players notched double-digit win totals for the first time since the 1990 season. Already, Liberty is off to its first 2-0 start to a season since the 2004 campaign. Throughout the 2013 season, LibertyFlames.com will provide a look at each of the Flames' players.

Stan Vaughan returns for his junior season and is set for a breakout year for the Flames. Vaughan won his lone doubles match of the 2012 season and has already posted wins in each of his two doubles contests this spring. The Colorado native is also 1-0 on the young season in singles matches.

From the Head Coach: "Stan has a strong will to win and has a constant attacking attitude on the court. We are very happy that he is back at 100% and able to contribute again. I think he will be a valuable part of us reaching our goals this spring."
