With the 2013 Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters officially announced earlier this evening, the Liberty men's basketball team will play host to Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) member Austin Peay, Feb. 23. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.

The first-ever meeting between the Flames and the Governors marks the second time Liberty has hosted a BracketBusters contest. Liberty is seeking its first-ever win in the series, having previously faced Niagara, Old Dominion, Iona and Morgan State. The Flames first hosted a BracketBusters contest on Feb. 19, 2011, squaring off with Iona in a nationally televised contest on ESPNU.

All of the Big South's men's basketball programs are participating in the same year for the second consecutive season. The conference is tied for the most members competing of the 15 leagues involved, with 12 Big South members among the overall field of 122 teams.

The six Big South members hosting games are Campbell, High Point, Liberty, Presbyterian College, UNC Asheville and Winthrop. The six conference schools playing on the road are Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, Gardner-Webb, Longwood, Radford and VMI. Each team that hosts a Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters game will play a return game at the home facility of their opponent in November or December of the 2014-15 season.
