Flames Sports Hotline Returns to Doc's Diner

The Flames Sports Hotline, a weekly radio show spotlighting Liberty's basketball programs, returns to the airwaves this evening at 7 p.m., live from Doc's Diner. Alan York, the radio "Voice of the Flames," hosts the show, which will feature in-studio appearances from men's basketball coach Dale Layer and women's basketball coach Carey Green, as well as interviews with Flames forward JR Coronado and baseball coach Jim Toman.

For the third year in a row, the Flames Sports Hotline airs weekly on the Victory FM radio network (88.3 FM – Lynchburg, Roanoke, Danville), the flagship radio station for the Flames Sports Network.

Listeners can email questions for tonight's guests to FSNbroadcast@liberty.edu, prior to the start of the show. They can also tweet questions to @LibertyRadioPxP, using the hashtag #fsnbroadcast.

Green and the Lady Flames look to clinch the No. 1 seed in the 2013 Big South Championship, when they host Coastal Carolina, Thursday at 7 p.m. Liberty then concludes the 2012-13 regular season at home against Charleston Southern, Saturday. Tipoff for the Senior Night game is slated for 2 p.m.

The Flames step onto the Vines Center court for the final time, this season, playing host to Commonwealth and Big South competitor VMI, Tuesday night. The contest will serve as Liberty's Senior Night. Game time is slated for 7 p.m., with the contest airing live on the Liberty Channel, MASN, ESPN3 and ESPN Full Court. Liberty then heads to Radford on Saturday to wrap up the regular season. Tipoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
