Dillon Segur

The Liberty men's tennis team enters the 2013 season looking to build upon a very successful 2011-12 season. Last season's total of 15 wins marked the program's second highest single-season win total. The Flames racked up 90 singles victories on the year, as five players notched double-digit win totals for the first time since the 1990 season. Liberty returns four players from last season's squad and also welcomes four new players to the team. Throughout the 2012-2013 season, LibertyFlames.com will provide a look at each of the Flames' players.

Dillon Segur, a native of Winston-Salem, N.C., posted 11 wins during the 2012 spring schedule. The sophomore played the majority of his matches in the No. 4 and 5 positions. In doubles play, Segur posted an 8-4 record, while playing eight out of the 12 matches in the No. 3 position. He was tabbed the Big South Freshman of the Week twice during the spring slate. During the fall tournament schedule, Segur posted wins in each of the four tournaments the Flames competed in.

From the Head Coach: "Dillon is everything we look for when we hand out a Liberty tennis jersey. He has great skills and has developed some weapons that are starting to change his game."
