The Flames will begin the final month of their regular season schedule this weekend when Charleston Southern visits Williams Stadium for College For A Weekend.

The game will pit opposing strengths against each other. Liberty enters the game leading the Big South and ranked No. 26 in the country in passing offense, averaging 250.13 yards per game with 13 passing touchdowns.

Charleston Southern leads the Big South and ranks No. 8 nationally in passing defense, allowing an average of 159.5 passing yards per game. Despite giving up fewer passing yards, the Buccaneers have allowed 12 passing touchdowns in eight games.

The game will also feature the No. 2 and No. 3 rushing attacks in the Big South. Following Stony Brook (303.4 average rushing yards per game), Charleston Southern (206.9) and Liberty (173.9) rank second and third in the league in team rushing with both having scored 13 team rushing touchdowns.

The game will mark the 20th meeting between the two programs, with Liberty leading the series 17-2. Liberty and Charleston Southern have met each year since 1993 and the Flames have won the last six meetings in the series.
