Liberty volleyball head coach Shane Pinder leads the Lady Flames as they prepare to compete at Gardner-Webb and UNC Asheville this weekend.

Prior to the Liberty volleyball team's weekend trip to North Carolina to face Big South foes Gardner-Webb and UNC Asheville, the Flames Sports Network's Nick Pierce sat down with head coach Shane Pinder.

The Lady Flames (11-4, 1-0 Big South) extended their winning streak to three matches on Tuesday, downing James Madison, 3-0. Liberty never trailed the Dukes in the match, despite the contest being decided by a total of eight points. Caroline Douglas posted a match-high 17 kills, while Ansley Gebben had nine kills and a career-high 23 digs.

Liberty heads to Boiling Springs, N.C., for a 7 p.m. match on Friday night at Gardner-Webb. On Saturday, the Lady Flames will compete at UNC Asheville, in a match beginning at 6 p.m.
