The 2011-12 Liberty women's basketball team went 24-9, winning the Big South regular-season and tournament titles and advancing to the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship.

The Liberty women's basketball team wrapped up another successful season on Sunday, making its 14th appearance in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship in the last 16 years. The Lady Flames finished the 2011-12 campaign with a 24-9 overall record and a 16-2 Big South mark.

Here is a look at some of the 2011-12 Lady Flames' most notable accomplishments.

Team Accomplishments
-- Liberty qualified for its 14th NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship in the last 16 years.

-- The Lady Flames won the Big South Championship title for the 14th time in 16 seasons.

-- Liberty notched its 14th 20-win season in the last 16 seasons.

-- The Lady Flames captured their 13th Big South regular-season championship in the last 15 years.

-- Liberty set a new Big South record with 16 conference victories.

-- The Lady Flames won 10 road games for the second year in a row, finishing 10-5 on the road, including a victory at High Point in the Big South Championship title game.

-- Through games played on March 20, the Lady Flames led the nation in rebound margin (+15.6), while ranking No. 12 in field goal percentage defense (.344) and No. 19 in scoring margin (+12.8).

-- If Liberty ends the season ranked No. 1 in rebound margin, it will mark the fourth time the Lady Flames have topped the nation in rebound margin. This is also the 10th straight season that Liberty has ranked among the nation's top 10 teams in rebound margin.

-- Liberty's +15.6 rebound margin set a new program and Big South Conference record.

-- The Lady Flames' +15.6 rebound margin is tied with the 1987-88 Louisiana Tech squad for the seventh highest rebound margin in NCAA Division I women's basketball history. No NCAA Division I team has outrebounded opponents by as many as 15.6 boards/game since 1995-96.

-- Liberty held all 33 opponents below 50 percent field goal shooting and has now held 55 straight teams below 50 percent, dating back to the 2010-11 season.

-- Vanderbilt Thanksgiving Tournament All-Tournament Team.

#5 Reagan Miller
-- Big South All-Freshman Team.

-- Four-time Big South Freshman of the Week, including three in a row (Feb. 14, 21 & 28). No other Lady Flame had won the award three times in a row or four times in a single season since Michelle Fricke in 1999-2000.

-- Her 131 assists were the most by a Lady Flame since Sarah Wilkerson had 149 assists in 1997-98.

-- Her 56 three-pointers tie her for fourth on Liberty's all-time single season list with Cynthia Thomson, who hit 56 triples in 1991-92.

-- She set a new program record for minutes played in a season with 1,086, averaging 32.9 minutes per contest.

#23 Avery Warley
-- Big South Championship MVP.

-- Big South Championship All-Tournament Team.

-- First team All-Big South for the third straight year.

-- Second team Richmond Times-Dispatch All-State.

-- She became the all-time leading rebounder in Liberty and Big South Conference history, finishing her career with 1,282 rebounds.

-- On Liberty's career list, Warley also ranks No. 1 for games played (132), No. 3 for blocked shots (166), No. 3 for double-doubles (47) and No. 5 for points (1,453).

-- Her 381 rebounds this season set the Liberty single-season record and rank No. 2 in Big South Conference history.

-- She led the Big South in field goal percentage (.574) for the fourth straight season.

-- Through games played on March 20, Warley ranks No. 7 nationally for rebounds per game (11.5 rpg) and No. 18 for double-doubles (15).

-- Her career-high 23 rebounds during a Feb. 11 win over Charleston Southern tied the Vines Center record.

-- Her 22 rebounds in Liberty's Big South Championship semifinal victory over Charleston Southern on March 10 equaled the tournament single-game record.

-- Big South All-Academic Team.

#40 Devon Brown
-- Big South Championship All-Tournament Team.

-- First team All-Big South for the third year in a row.

-- Second team Richmond Times-Dispatch All-State.

-- She became the 14th Lady Flame ever to score 1,000 career points, reaching the milestone during a Dec. 7 game at Virginia.

-- Brown finished her junior season ranked No. 6 on Liberty's all-time scoring list (1,441 points) and No. 9 on the program's all-time rebounding chart (596 rebounds).

-- Brown's 154 made free throws this season rank No. 4 on Liberty's single-season list.

Head Coach Carey Green
-- Green won his 300th career game Feb. 4 at Campbell and finished his 13th season with the Lady Flames at 310-103 for his career.
