2012 Flames Reach 20 Wins the Fastest
• With its win Sunday at Presbyterian College, the 2012 Liberty Flames recorded their 20th win of the year.
• It is the earliest in a season that the Flames have posted 20 victories in program history.
• The 1980 Liberty team reached 20 wins in their 25th game (20-5).

The Roadies
• Liberty enters the best with the nation's best road record of 6-0.  UCLA  at 4-0 and Florida at 3-0 are next.
• The Flames also have the longest current road winning streak at eight.  Liberty has not lost a contest away from Lynchburg this season, winning three neutral site games to go along with its six road contest.

Among the Nation's Elite
• Liberty enters the weekend second in country with 20 wins. Kentucky leads the nation with 21 wins.
• Liberty's .870 winning percentage is the fifth best in the nation.  Kentucky also leads that category (1.000), as the Wildcats, 21-0, are the only unbeaten team left in NCAA Division I.
• The Flames are tied for second nationally in runs allowed per game. Liberty enters the week tied with Maryland, yielding 2.6 runs per game. Defending National Champion South Carolina is tops in the nation, allowing 2.4 runs per contest.
• Liberty also ranks second in the nation in scoring margin.  The Flames and N.C. State have averaged 5.2 more runs per game than their opponents.  Stanford and Cornell lead the nation by outscoring their opponents by 5.5 runs per contest.

• Liberty is 11-2 in the month of March. The Flames are 56-31 (.643) during the month under head coach Jim Toman.
• The Flames are 11-3 1(.786) at home this season and 80-36-1 (.688) at Worthington Stadium under head coach Jim Toman.

Player Notes
• 2B Bryan Aanderud is tied for the Big South lead with 25 RBIs. The junior also leads the Flames and is second in the conference with a .424 batting average.
• Aanderud hit .615 during Liberty's three-game series at Presbyterian College this past weekend, recording his first four-hit game of the year, Friday.
• OF Andy Smith leads the Flames and the Big South Conference with 30 runs scored. The OF is also tied for the team lead with three home runs.
• DH Tyler Cox hit two home runs in the eighth inning, Friday at Presbyterian College.  Cox is tied for the team lead in home runs with Smith.
• OF Ian Parmley has scored 29 runs this season.  Currently, he is second in the Big South Conference behind teammate Smith.
• RHP Patrick Eckelbarger recorded his second complete game of the year in a 5-2 win over Presbyterian College, Saturday. It was the longest outing of his Liberty career. His first complete game was a seven-inning, 1-0 shutout of Siena on Feb. 25.
• OF/1B Ryan Cordell had a career-high four hits in Liberty's 13-3 victory over Presbyterian College, Sunday.
