Liberty volleyball head coach Shane Pinder leads the Lady Flames as they play three home matches this week, beginning Tuesday at 7 against VCU.

The Liberty volleyball team opens up a three-match homestand with a match against VCU, Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Vines Center.

The Lady Flames (9-10, 4-1 Big South) are tied with Winthrop for the Big South lead, and will take on Coastal Carolina and Charleston Southern Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Nick Pierce sat down with head coach Shane Pinder, along with senior libero Kelly Haseman, for a pair of interviews. The interviews covered Haseman's record-setting career, Liberty's recent play, along with a look ahead to this week's three home matches.

Haseman broke the all-time program career digs record on Saturday, and stands in sixth place on the Big South career digs list. Junior Loren Thomas tied a career high with 14 kills Saturday, helping Liberty to a 3-0 sweep of Campbell.
