On Sunday, Liberty hosted its annual Football Media Day event at Williams Stadium, giving local media members and fans a chance to interact with the players and coaches at the close of 2011 Football Training Camp.

After battling some inclement weather that restricted the team to the Williams Football Operations Center for about 45 minutes, the team was finally able to take the team photo. While waiting out the storms, Liberty's players and coaches took a series of photos and videos, which will be used in printed publications and the stadium's video board.

Before the team photo was taken around 3:30 p.m., the players and coaches were able to mingle with the fans that had gathered for the event and waited out the storms.

During this time, the Flames Sports Network recruited two-time All-America kicker Matt Bevins as their "roving reporter" on site. The senior was able to provide some inside access to the day's activities and interviews some of his fellow teammates.
