Evan Gordon, who led the Flames in scoring with 14.4 points per game this season, has decided to transfer.

Liberty Head Coach Dale Layer has announced that sophomore guard Evan Gordon will transfer at the conclusion of the spring semester.

"Evan has chosen to seek a release to transfer," Layer stated. "He expressed the desire to play a different position other than what he has been playing here at Liberty. We wish him all the best."

Gordon led the Flames in scoring with 14.4 points per game (eighth in the Big South). The guard also paced the team in free throw percentage (76.2 percent) and three-point field goal percentage (33.7 percent). The Indianapolis, Ind., native concludes his time at Liberty 26th on the program's all-time scoring list with 832 career points.
