After Liberty swept the men's and women's team titles at last week's Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships, Nick Pierce caught up with junior sprinter/hurdler Olivia Charnuski and head coach Brant Tolsma.

The Liberty men's squad was dominant, winning its unprecedented 14th consecutive Big South indoor title by 85 points over VMI. Meanwhile, the Lady Flames had to come from behind on the meet's final day to defeat Coastal Carolina by 20 points. Charnuski placed in three different events, tallying 14 points as the Lady Flames made it back-to-back Big South championships.

Charnuski is also among a sizeable group of Flames and Lady Flames heading to Boston for the IC4A and ECAC Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships. Both meets will be contested on Saturday and Sunday.
