With one action-packed weekend just completed and another on the horizon, Nick Pierce caught up with junior women's distance standout Jennifer Klugh and head coach Brant Tolsma.

The conversation recapped Liberty's busy and successful weekend, which saw Flames in action in University Park, Pa. (Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup), Boston, Mass. (New Balance Indoor Grand Prix) and San Diego, Calif. (USA Cross Country Championships). Highlights included Sam Chelanga's Liberty and Big South-record 7:48.24 3K in Boston, three new IC4A qualifications and a new ECAC mark.

This weekend, Liberty athletes will again be spread over three different meets from coast to coast. The Flames will hold their final home meet of the indoor season, the Liberty Quad, Friday at the Tolsma Indoor Track Center. Meanwhile, four distance runners will compete in the Flotrack Husky Invitational in Seattle, Wash., and six athletes will take part in the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
