The Liberty men's basketball team will take a break from conference play this weekend, playing host to CAA member George Mason, Saturday, at 7 p.m. The Flames are coming off a 75-72 victory over defending Big South champion Winthrop and are 2-0 in conference play for the first time in program history.

Sophomore guard Evan Gordon finished the game with a career-high 26 points and five steals, while chipping in seven rebounds and five assists. In this week's edition of Coach's Corner, Nick Pierce caught up with Gordon and head coach Dale Layer to chat about Liberty's recent victory and preview the matchup with the Patriots.
