Recently, former Liberty right-hander Andrew Wilson was promoted by the Atlanta Braves organization from Single A Rome to Single A Myrtle Beach.
The right-hander was selected in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft by Atlanta. After spending last season and part of 2010 with the Rome Braves of the South Atlantic League and Wilson was advance to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the Advanced Class A Carolina League.
Nick Pierce of the Flames Sports Network talked to the former Liberty hurler earlier this week, when he visited Lynchburg for a series with the Hillcats.
