As the Liberty women's basketball team prepares for its first matchup with Campbell this season, Nick Pierce of the Liberty Flames Sports Network caught up with head coach Carey Green to preview the game.

Liberty (12-6, 8-1 Big South) and Campbell (11-7, 6-3 Big South) are two of the top four teams in the Big South Conference standings. The Lady Flames are tied with High Point for the league lead, while the Camels share third place with Radford.

Both teams are looking to bounce back from disappointing results on Tuesday. Liberty suffered its first Big South loss of the season, 63-58 at Winthrop. Meanwhile, the Camels dropped a 50-40 decision at Coastal Carolina.

The all-time series record between Liberty and Campbell is deadlocked at 13-13 after the two teams split their pair of regular-season matchups in 2013-14.

Tipoff is slated for 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Vines Center for a game that will be aired on the Liberty Flames Sports Network, ESPN3 and the Big South Network.
