Following a career year for the Flames, Liberty kicker John Lunsford has been named to the College Sporting News 2014 Fabulous Fifty FCS All-America team.

The junior was an honorable mention selection to this year's College Sporting News 2014 Fabulous Fifty FCS All-America team.

This is the second All-America honor for Lunsford after he was named to the Sports Network All-America first team in December.

Lunsford returned to his freshman year form this season, earning All-Big South first-team honors and being named the 2014 Big South Special Teams Player of the Year.

The Fort Myers, Fla., native led the Big South in field goal percentage (79.2) and field goals made (19), while ranking No. 5 nationally in field goals made per game (1.58).

The junior finished the year hitting five-of-six field goals from 50 or more yards and recorded the three longest field goals by an FCS kicker in the country this season (56 yards vs. James Madison, 57 yards vs. Bryant and 60 yards vs. Richmond).

Lunsford set a school record during the 2014 season, as he completed a streak of 94 consecutive extra points.
