Liberty is ranked No. 18 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25.

For the first time since Nov. 26, the Big South Conference-leading Liberty women's basketball team is ranked in the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25. The Lady Flames are listed No. 18 in this week's poll, which was released Tuesday afternoon.

Liberty has won four games in a row, improving its overall record to 10-5. The Lady Flames are the Big South's lone remaining unbeaten team, boasting a 6-0 conference mark for its best start in Big South play since 2008-09.

Liberty's six conference victories are tied for the most of any NCAA Division I women's basketball team this season. Quinnipiac has opened MAAC competition at 6-0.

Princeton, James Madison, Green Bay, Chattanooga and Florida Gulf Coast own the top five positions in the rankings, which are made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast, Western Athletic.

Liberty will host Longwood at the Vines Center tonight, with tipoff slated for 7 p.m. The Lady Flames are aiming for their 12th consecutive victory over the Lancers in a game televised on the Liberty Flames Sports Network, ESPN3 and the Big South Network.
