Liberty will face Penn State Friday at 2 p.m. in the opening game of the GSU Thanksgiving Tournament.

As the Liberty women's basketball team prepares to share in a Thanksgiving dinner in the Atlanta area, Jamie Hall of the Liberty Flames Sports Network caught up with head coach Carey Green.

The 2-2 Lady Flames are in Atlanta for the GSU Thanksgiving Tournament, which will take place Friday and Sunday at the GSU Sports Arena. Liberty is slated to face Penn State (1-3) in the tournament's opening game, Friday at 2 p.m. The only previous meeting between the Lady Flames and Lady Lions was Liberty's first-ever NCAA Tournament triumph, a 78-70 victory on March 20, 2005.

Host Georgia State (2-0) and Samford (3-1) will meet in Friday afternoon's second contest, at approximately 4 p.m. Friday's two victors will face off Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the tournament championship game, following the 12:30 p.m. consolation tilt.
