Head Liberty Men's Basketball Coach Dale Layer has announced the signing of Caleb Homesley for the 2015-16 academic year.

Homesley (G, 6-4, 175, Indian Trails, N.C.) averaged 19.7 points and four assists per game during his junior year at Porter Ridge High School under head coach Jim Rhodes. In his two varsity seasons with the Hawks, Homesley had a combined average of 14.0 ppg.

During the summer, Homesley also had a successful stint on the AAU circuit with the Carolina Hawks, coached by Derrick Wall. Homesley's time with the Hawks helped him garner scholarship offers from Gardner-Webb, High Point, Appalachian State, Kent State and UNCG.

"Caleb is a very intelligent, versatile perimeter player, who can score, distribute and defend at multiple positions," Layer said. "He will impact our program in many ways. We are excited he is a part of our future."
