With its 2014 fall season complete, the Liberty Lady Flames tennis squad will now set its eyes on the spring season, hoping to capture a Big South championship.

The Lady Flames notched 10 finals victories in 14 finals matches this fall. Senior Brittany Yang revealed her senior leadership, winning a singles flight in the first two tournaments of the fall, the Elon Invitational and the Colorado Invitational.

Freshman Evangeline Crist competed in three finals competitions during her first fall season, securing two finals wins. Crist captured a doubles finals victory in her first collegiate tournament at the Elon Invitational, following up that performance with an individual win in the Hokie Fall Invite.

Liberty Flames Sports Network's Alan York had the chance to catch up with Liberty Head Coach Jeff Maren to discuss his team's success this fall, and look ahead to the upcoming spring season. The Lady Flames' first match of 2015 will be a home contest against Wofford on Jan. 16.
