Following the team's final full practice this week, head football coach Turner Gill met with the media on Thursday to discuss his team's preparation for the Gardner-Webb game.

The Flames have defeated the Runnin' Bulldogs each of the last seven times they have faced Gardner-Webb on the gridiron. Liberty leads the overall series, 11-8-1, and 8-4 in Big South play.

The last time the Runnin' Bulldogs visited Williams Stadium was a significant one for Flames' Head Coach Turner Gill, as it marked his first victory as a head coach at Liberty.

A five-yard touchdown pass with just over five minutes left to play completed a second-half rally, securing a 42-35 win for Liberty over visiting Gardner-Webb on Oct. 6, 2012. Down 28-10 early in the third quarter, Liberty scored 32 of the game's last 40 points to rally for the win.

The Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN) will provide radio coverage for the game, while ESPN3 will broadcast through its various television streaming outlets. For more information about where to watch and/or listen to the game, check out the Game Day Central page for this Saturday's road contest.
