Liberty women's soccer goalkeeper Holly Van Noord recently appeared on Liberty Flames Sports Network's daily sports news show Game On to talk about the team's recent accomplishments.

During the interview, Van Noord discussed setting the program shutout record this past weekend at High Point, as well as the Lady Flames' aspirations for another Big South Championship.

Liberty defeated the Panthers this past Saturday, 2-0, allowing Van Noord to secure her 21st career shutout and break the school record previously held by former teammate Karen Blocker (2008-12). Van Noord also holds Liberty's single-season shutout record (14), which she set during the 2013 campaign.

Van Noord is currently 26th in the country in goals-against average (0.62) and 28th in save percentage (.857), leading the Big South in both categories. She is also tops in the conference in shutouts with seven.

Liberty (9-3-1, 5-0-1 Big South) sits in first place in the conference standings. The Lady Flames are unbeaten in their last eight games and are off to their best start in conference play since the 2009 season.

Liberty remains on the road Saturday, squaring off with Gardner-Webb. Match time is slated for 4 p.m.
