Ashley Rininger led the Lady Flames in scoring (14.7 ppg) and rebounding (9.0 rpg) as a sophomore in 2013-14.

Nick Pierce of the Liberty Flames Sports Network caught up with redshirt junior post player Ashley Rininger prior to Wednesday afternoon's women's basketball practice.

Rininger, a first team All-Big South performer in 2013-14, reflected on the Lady Flames' first week and a half of preseason practice.

Liberty is less than a month away from the start of the 2014-15 campaign. The Lady Flames will play three straight home games to open the year, beginning with a Nov. 14 matchup against Charlotte. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. at the Vines Center.
