The Liberty men's tennis team travels up the road to Charlottesville, Va. for the second time this fall, competing in the ITA Atlantic Regional for the fifth consecutive year. The tournament begins Thursday morning and will conclude Monday morning at the Snyder Tennis Center.

The Flames enjoyed success last year at the ITA Atlantic Regional in Blacksburg, Va., with the Liberty duo of Shea Thomas and Jorge Azuero capturing the Flames' first-ever regional doubles title. The duo upended the No. 17 doubles pair in the nation, Andreas Bjerrehus and Amerigo Contini of Virginia Tech, in the championship match.

Liberty Flames Sports Network's Nick Pierce had a chance to catch up with Liberty Men's Tennis Head Coach Chris Johnson to discuss the upcoming tournament.
