Following the team's final full practice this week, head football coach Turner Gill met with the media on Thursday to discuss his team's preparation for the Richmond game.

For the second home game in a row, the Flames will square off against top 25 team with Richmond entering the contest ranked No. 20 by the Sports Network and No. 21 in the FCS Coaches poll.

Liberty has defeated the last two nationally ranked FCS programs it has faced, including a 38-21 victory over No. 25 Bryant at Williams Stadium two weeks ago.

Liberty will be facing Richmond for the second year in a row after falling to the Spiders, 30-21, at Robins Stadium, last year. The contest marks the first time Richmond has visited Williams Stadium.

The Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN) will provide both radio and television coverage for the home contest. For more information about where to watch and/or listen to LFSN's coverage of the game, check out the Game Day Central page for this Saturday's Homecoming evening contest.
