For the fifth year in a row, the Liberty Lady Flames tennis squad travels to Blacksburg, Va., to take part in the Hokie Fall Invite at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Matches will begin Friday morning and conclude Sunday afternoon.

The 10-team field includes nationally ranked opponents Marshall, Penn State, VCU, James Madison and host Virginia Tech. Teams such as UMBC, Radford, Morehead State and Wofford cap off the 10-team tournament alongside the Lady Flames.

"This fall, our goal as a team was to prepare ourselves for the tough spring schedule that we will be facing," said Liberty Assistant Head Coach Giancarlo Lemmi. "The Hokie Invite will give us plenty of opportunity to keep improving on our game and get us ready for the spring. So far this fall we have played well against nationally ranked teams and we are looking forward to doing it again this weekend."
