For the first time in program history, the Liberty Lady Flames tennis squad travels to Boulder, Colo., to take part in the Colorado Invitational at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

Matches begin this evening and will conclude Sunday afternoon. The Lady Flames will be represented by Brittany Yang, Belen Rivera, Maria Khval and Nicola Wellman.

The six-team field includes Liberty, Arkansas, Southern Illinois, Utah, New Mexico and host Colorado. There will be five rounds of doubles, and three rounds of singles to be played over the next four days.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to compete against excellent teams who have a track record of success," said Liberty Women's Tennis Head Coach Jeff Maren. "The girls will be challenged with every match, which is exactly why we chose to participate in this event."
