Redshirt senior Morgan Becker had a chance to represent her country as well as Liberty University this summer as she played lacrosse in Prague, Czech Republic for Team USA.

Becker and former teammate Jen Moyer traveled with an organization called AIST, American International Sports Teams. The two teammates were grouped with 14 other players ranging from Division I to Division III.

When the team arrived to Prague, they had just one practice before playing together in the annual Prague Cup. Becker played a total of six games in the tournament against teams from countries such as Latvia, Great Britain and host Czech Republic. The team ended up making it to the Prague Cup finals before falling to the host LCC Radotin by a score of 10-7. Team USA outscored opponents 54-22 en route to bringing home the silver medal.

Becker finished the tournament with 18 goals and seven assists, placing her second in the leading scorer category for the tournament. Becker was also successful in winning draw controls for her team.

Nick Pierce of the Liberty Flames Sports Network had a chance to catch up with Becker to discuss the Prague Cup this past summer.
