Liberty Men's Soccer Ranked in South Region Poll

Off to their best start since 1997, the Liberty Flames men's soccer team has been ranked among the South Region's top teams in the latest regional rankings, released this afternoon.

The Flames are listed 10th in a region, which has eight teams ranked nationally. North Carolina heads the South regional poll and is ranked No.1 nationally.

Liberty enters the week with a 4-0-1 record.  The mark is the best start to a season by the Flames since 1997, when they opened the year 8-0, on the way to a 13-4 overall record.

Liberty will face Davidson, ranked No. 25 nationally, Saturday at Osborne Stadium.  Match time is scheduled for Noon.  Davidson is one of four teams that Liberty will host this season which is nationally ranked.
