Liberty Men's Tennis Announces Fall Schedule
Liberty men's tennis head coach Chris Johnson has announced the team's tournament schedule for the fall. Johnson, who enters his ninth year at the helm of the Flames, returns four players from last year's squad that finished 12-10 last spring.
Liberty will compete in five tournaments during the fall, beginning in Wilmington, N.C. at the UNC Wilmington Invitational, Sept. 12-14.
Three weeks later, Oct. 3-5, the Flames will travel to Charlottesville, Va. to compete in the UVA Fall Invite.
Liberty will play two tournaments in Wilmington, N.C. as well as two in Charlottesville, Va. The Flames will also compete at the UNCW Quad Invite in Wilmington, N.C. on Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Liberty will also compete in the Atlantic Regional on Oct. 16-20 in Charlottesville, Va.
The Flames will also take part in the Wake Forest Invitational on Oct. 10-12 in Winston Salem, N.C.
"Last fall, our team had the toughest fall schedule we had ever played and the results were outstanding," commented Johnson, "We believe playing against the best is the only way to grow. Our schedule this fall is very similar and we are once again looking to use it to build momentum going into the spring."
