With the 2014 season just around the corner, the Liberty men's soccer team has begun it's preparations for the upcoming year. This morning, Liberty Flames Sports Network's Alan York caught up with the Flames after their practice at the East Campus Fields.

Following the team's morning session, York spoke with head coach Jeff Alder, who begins his 14th year as head coach of his alma mater and defender/midfielder Tim Harbison.

During the pair of interviews, the coach and player discussed a variety of topics, detailing what the team is doing to prepare for the upcoming season.

The Flames continue preseason preparations over the next few days, leading up to an exhibition game with Virginia Tech at Osborne Stadium on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Liberty will host Bluefield to open its season on Aug. 29 at Osborne Stadium.  Match time is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
