Men's IC4A Day Three Recap
Klase's impressive throw, which came on his second attempt, shattered his previous best of 207-5 and moved him from No. 7 to No. 2 on the Flames' all-time list. Klase, whose impressive series also featured throws of 209-0 and 207-7, likely punched his first ticket to the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round meet in the process.

This was the first time in program history that two Liberty men's javelin throwers have exceeded 210 feet at the same meet. Meanwhile, Klase and Feister are the fifth and sixth Flames ever to throw 210 feet in the javelin.
Redshirt senior Jacob DeValve scored the first IC4A point of his career, throwing the shot put 56-2 for eighth place. During the midst of the shot put competition, he placed 25th in the javelin with a top mark of 191-6.
