Kelly Nangle

Prior to the holiday break, Alan York of the Liberty Flames Sports Network caught up with first-year Lady Flames lacrosse head coach Kelly Nangle for an interview.

The conversation focused on Nangle's adjustment to life in Lynchburg, the team's development through the fall season and a look ahead to the spring schedule.

Liberty is coming off its best season in program history, posting eight wins in 2013 and reaching the semifinals of the inaugural Big South Lacrosse Championship. The Lady Flames return eight starters from last season's squad and welcome a talented group of 11 freshmen.

The 2014 season begins on Feb. 7 when Liberty travels to face the Richmond Spiders. The Lady Flames' first home contest is scheduled for Feb. 21 versus Elon.
