Jaret White

Jaret White is in his first year as a student assistant coach on the Liberty baseball program.  White assists with several phases of the program, primarily working with position players. 

White is no stranger to the Liberty program as he has served as a student manager, last season.  In addition to those duties, he helped with team preparation and practice as the Flames capture the 2013 Big South Championship.

White also coaches with the Roanoke Rails of the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League during the summer, serving as an assistant coach.  In addition, he works with several summer baseball camps.

White is a graduate of near-by James River High School.  He pitched and played first base for the Knights and was named first team all-region in 2011 and 2012 and was a four-time all-district selection. His senior year he was a first team all-state selection and played in the VHSL All-Star game. James River capture the district title in each of White's four seasons with the team.

A native of Boetetourt, Va., White is majoring in sports management with a minor in business.
