Keely McMillon serves her alma mater as Women's Olympic Sports Director of Operations, a title she has held since July 2013.
McMillon focuses her efforts on the volleyball, softball, women's tennis and swimming & diving teams. Her responsibilities include arranging all travel for her four sports, including hotels, buses and flights. She assists her programs with the scheduling of official visits, including travel arrangements, host money requisitions, itinerary preparation and submission of official visit information via JumpForward. McMillon assists with pre-game meals for home contests, and also aids with travel arrangements pertaining to recruiting trips. She handles purchase card reconciling for her coaches and staffs.
She worked as a graduate assistant in the Liberty Department of Sports Management from 2011-13. During the 2013 season, she served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Lady Flames' softball team.
In 2012, McMillon coached softball at Heritage High School.
McMillon was a standout catcher for the Lady Flames softball team from 2008-11. A four-year starter, primarily behind the plate, she played a key role as a senior on the Lady Flames' 2011 Big South champion team. During her senior season, McMillon was named to the Big South All-Conference first team and was also a second-team VaSID All-State selection. She also received two straight Big South Softball Player of the Week awards as a senior in 2011. For her efforts in the 2009 Big South Softball Championship, McMillon was voted to the all-tournament team.
McMillon graduated from Liberty with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2011. She then earned her master's degree in sport administration from Liberty in 2013.
She currently resides in Lynchburg.
