Liberty Flames Sports Network

Throughout the 2013-14 school year, Liberty athletics fans will be able to catch all the action on the Liberty Flames Sports Network. LFSN is comprised of Liberty’s radio and television network that has covered Flames’ athletics since its inception in 1981. The flagship radio station for Liberty athletics is 88.3 FM in Lynchburg, Va. The 50,000-watt station is part of the Victory FM radio network which includes 32 affiliates that covers the Commonwealth of Virginia and much of the state of North Carolina.

The Flames Sports Network includes radio coverage of Liberty football and men’s basketball games on 88.3 FM, while 90.9 FM WWMC in Lynchburg provides significant radio coverage for Liberty women’s basketball, baseball and softball. Alan York returns for his fourth season calling radio play-by-play of Liberty football and men’s basketball. Nick Pierce handles radio play-by-play duties for Liberty baseball, while Jamie Hall broadcasts Liberty women’s basketball.

Fans can also follow Liberty athletics on the Liberty Channel (WTLU), the flagship television station of the Liberty Flames Sports Network. LFSN airs Liberty football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball games, as well as Liberty volleyball matches. The Liberty Channel can be viewed in the greater Lynchburg area on most cable systems.

All LFSN television game broadcasts are produced in full HD quality and reach an expanded 80 million households in the United States.

Live broadcasts of Liberty's athletics events throughout the year will be available on the LFSN network of national and regional platforms, including DirecTV, Dish Network, ESPN3, Verizon Fios and AT&T U-Verse.

LFSN’s television broadcast team consists of trained professionals who have worked for most of the major sporting networks in the United States, including ESPN, ABC Sports, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, NASCAR, SportSouth, Comcast and FoxSports. Mike Tilley and Ray Jones return for their 22nd season together calling Liberty Flames football on television.
