Last week, Liberty's football program held its annual Pro Day, giving professional scouts a chance to watch firsthand the abilities of the Flames' draft eligible players.

LFSN's Game On crew was on site during the afternoon workouts and filed the following report, during which they spoke with head football coach Turner Gill and draft eligible players Walt Aikens and Kevin Fogg.

During the afternoon, scouts from more than 20 NFL franchises were in attendance, testing the players in the vertical jump, standing long jump, 225-pound bench press, 40-yard dash, short shuttle and three-cone drill.

The draft eligible players that participate in the workouts included Aikens (CB), Aldreakis Allen (RB), Francis Bah (DL), Grant Bowden (P), Jibrille Fewell (DL), Fogg (CB), Cory Freeman (DL) and Richard Wright (LS). Former Flames wide receiver Pat Kelly and quarterback Brian Hudson also participated in the afternoon event.
