The Flames Sports Hotline, a weekly radio call-in show, returns to the airwaves this evening at 7 p.m. at Doc's Diner.

New this year, the Flames Sports Hotline will air weekly on the ESPNinVA network, which includes the following ESPN Radio stations in the Central Virginia area: 93.3 FM (Lynchburg), 106.3 FM (Danville), 1240 AM (Roanoke), 1320 AM (Lynchburg) and 1350 AM (Bedford).

Alan York, the radio "Voice of the Flames," hosts the call-in show, which will feature head men's basketball coach Dale Layer, senior guard Davon Marshall and head women's basketball coach Carey Green live at Doc's Diner.

Coming off a 65-53 win over Presbyterian College, Layer and the Flames head to Conway, S.C., for a clash with Coastal Carolina. Liberty looks to add to its current four-game win streak inside The HTC Center, the site where it captured its third Big South Championship, last season. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m., with the contest streaming live on the Big South Network.

The Lady Flames are coming off a 74-41 win over Longwood. Green's squad remains in the Vines Center this Thursday to host High Point in a battle for first place in the Big South standings. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m., with the contest airing live on the Liberty Flames Sports Network, ESPN3 and the Big South Network.

After the first few segments, York will open up the phone lines and field questions from the radio listening audience. Fans may call in at (877) 401-9041 to participate in the weekly show.

Those not able to participate in the call-in portion of the show can also email their questions to LFSN@liberty.edu, prior to the start of the show.

Flames Nation fans can listen to the show locally by tuning their radio dials to any of the ESPNinVA network of stations in the Central Virginia area. The show will also air live online at LibertyFlames.com and can be heard by clicking on the link above.
