LibertyFlames.com continues its countdown of the Top 10 Moments of 2013 for Liberty Athletics today, looking at No. 9, softball's win over Longwood at the Big South Championship.

Softball opened play at the 2013 Big South Softball Championship in Rock Hill, S.C., with a 5-3 victory over No. 3 seed and eventual tournament champion Longwood.

The win was the 547th and final victory in the storied coaching career of head softball coach Paul Wetmore. The 20-year head coach helped reinstate the softball program in 1994 and served as the program's first head coach at the Division I level.

During his two-decade tenure, Wetmore guided the Lady Flames to a pair of Big South Softball Championships and NCAA Regional appearances (2002 and 2011) and Big South regular-season titles in 1999, 2000 and 2007. He finished his career as the winningest coach in Liberty Athletics history.
