Flames Prepared for Military Appreciation Day Game

The Flames will face the Keydets for the final time as Big South members on Saturday when Liberty hosts VMI on Military Appreciation Day at Williams Stadium.

Following the Flames' final full practice of the week on Thursday, Liberty Flames Sports Network reporter Nick Pierce had a chance to talk with Flames Head Coach Turner Gill.

Liberty has won the last seven meetings in the series with the Kedyets by an average of 22.3 points per game. During its current seven-game win streak against VMI, Liberty has outscored the Keydets, 314-158, and has averaged 44.9 points scored per game.

The game will be televised on the Liberty Flames Sports Network, ESPN3 and MASN. Liberty Flames Sports Network radio pregame coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. and the game is scheduled to begin at 3:37 p.m.
