Kelly Nangle is the second head coach in Liberty women's lacrosse history.

Kelly Nangle was recently hired as the second head coach in Liberty women's lacrosse program history. Nick Pierce caught up with Nangle to learn more about the 2012 Northeast Conference (NEC) Coach of the Year.

Nangle comes to Liberty after serving as Central Connecticut State's head coach for the last two seasons (2012-13). She was voted NEC Coach of the Year in 2012 during her first year at the helm. Last season, Central Connecticut State won a program-record nine matches and qualified for the NEC Championship for the first time, reaching the semifinal round.

Prior to her time at Central Connecticut State, Nangle spent three years (2009-11) as an assistant coach at Rutgers. Nangle was a four-time All-NEC selection during her playing career at Mount St. Mary's (2003-06) and ranks second in program history in career ground balls (204).
