Liberty tied the program's best 12-game start in Big South Conference play moving to 11-1 in league action following a weekend sweep of VMI at Liberty Baseball Stadium.

Following the conference sweep, Liberty Flames Sports Network broadcasters Nick Pierce and Alan York revisit the three Big South wins with today's video recap.

Liberty has won nine Big South games in a row and holds a three-game lead in the latest Big South North standings. The Flames have shut out their last six Big South foes and have not surrendered a run to a conference opponent in 60-consecutive innings.

Liberty's three-game sweep of the Keydets was capped off by a shutout victory for right-hander Parker Bean on Sunday. The freshman took a no-hitter into the ninth inning before allowing a one-out hit in the final frame. For his efforts, Bean was named the Big South Pitcher of the Week earlier today.

Liberty is now 25-8 overall and 11-1 in Big South play. Liberty hosts Richmond tomorrow night at Liberty Baseball Stadium (6 p.m.) before heading to Farmville, Va., for a three-game road Big South series at Longwood this upcoming weekend.
