Liberty Lady Flames field hockey sophomore forward Ashlee Krulock has been named the NorPac East Division Offensive Player of the Week, as announced today by the conference.

This marks the first conference weekly award for Krulock in her career. Liberty has now earned five weekly awards this season. Helen Doolittle was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week last week, while Ann Jefferis has earned defensive honors twice (Sept. 3 and Sept. 9). Natalie Barr was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17.

Krulock posted a record-setting day for the Lady Flames in their lone contest last week. The sophomore matched a single-game program record with four goals in Liberty's 6-2 victory against Davidson on Saturday. Krulock equaled Barr's single-game goal mark from Oct. 19, 2012 against Appalachian State. The win improved the Lady Flames' overall record to 6-4 this season and 1-0 in conference play.

Krulock tallied a pair of markers in each half, increasing her team-leading goal total to nine for the season. The Hummelstown, Pa., native notched her four goals on just five shots. The sophomore has been the model of efficiency this season, scoring her nine goals on just 19 shots.

Krulock's four goals sets the single-game high in the NorPac this season and pulls her into a tie atop the conference with Longwood's Stacey de Grandhomme for most total goals this year.

Liberty returns to action with a midweek trip to Longwood on Wednesday for its first conference road test of the season. The Lady Flames and Lancers will get under way at 4:30 p.m. at the Athletics Complex.
