Available Primary Insurance Policy

 

Liberty University’s Sports Medicine Department recommends that all student-athletes have personal medical health insurance. It is required that all non-scholarship student-athletes carry primary health insurance that covers the athletic injuries and meets the minimum coverage standards outlined below. Liberty University’s Athletic secondary insurance covers athletic injuries only. We are pleased to offer, for purchase, individual accident and illness health insurance through the Flames athletic insurance provider; Bob McCloskey Insurance. This policy will cover non sports related illness and injuries that are not covered by the secondary athletic insurance policy. This is available to any student- athletes that are in need of purchasing a primary health insurance plan.

Sports Activity Length: 12 months (YOU MAY NOT CHOOSE LESS THAN 1 YEAR OF COVERAGE)
Coinsurance Limit: $10,000.00 (YOU MAY NOT CHOOSE $5,000)
Coinsurance Percentage: 80%/20% (YOU MAY NOT CHOOSE 50%/50%)
Deductible: $250/$500/$1000 (YOU MAY NOT CHOOSE $2,500)
