Megan Frazee is this week's Big South Player of the Week.
Frazee (Xenia, Ohio), who has now won the award five times in her career, paced Liberty in both points (14) and rebounds (12) during the team's three-point setback against Virginia Tech (Dec. 5). She then led all players in points (28) and rebounds (10) at No. 19 George Washington (Dec. 10), making nine of her first 10 field goal attempts in the process. The sophomore has recorded five double-doubles this season and has posted 14 double-doubles in 22 career games at Liberty.
Frazee leads the Big South Conference in rebounding (10.3 rpg), ranks second in scoring (19.9 ppg), is fourth in both field goal percentage (.512) and free throw percentage (.806) and sits ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.348).
The Lady Flames, now 5-3, will return to action Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. when Virginia Union visits the Vines Center.
